Cía de Transportes Terrestres
Originally, it would seem, it operated as Empresa de Autobuses - Antonio Puerto", that was in 1922; in 1924 this became Autobuses de Boyaca"; in 1925 the new style was added to this and finally the new style prevailed -or, at least predominated.
Inscription on the stamps "in spanish" reads: Antonio Puertos's motor bus undertaking, Bogota, 12th. Street 246, Telephone 2463. Private Service for letters (post) and parcels. 0,10".
| The first issue (1927) from this company had two large size stamps only, two labels without nomination, color was yellow and blue. Finally I am able to show the first of these rare stamps, the yellow one, Temprano No. 1. As per my knowledge, only six copies of these stamps are known to exist. Unfortunately, the yellow color is very bad for illustrations but I believe the image is clear enough. | ![]() |
The second issue (1928) was a provisional one, a 12 centavos, blue..., no image yet...
The third issue (1928 was one stamp only, the 12 centavo (blue) label from the first issue had been overprinted More details plus image will follow shortly
| The forth issue (1929 was a set of 5 stamps with only three nominations.. the 6 centavo and the 12 centavo stamp where issued with two different shades. | ![]() |
