Garage Hudson
This service ran only between Cartagena and
Barranquilla in about 1926-27. Apparently they only issued two stamps, a 10 centavos
black and a 10 centavos red-brown with a car (model T Ford?) in the center and LaPopa
(monastery on a hill above Cartagena) in the background. Little else is known and it is
unclear if mail was carried in autos between the cities but that would be the guess.
This company had issued only two different
stamps so I am more then proud to show three covers with stamps from this company.

Thnaks to Garry La Crosse I am able to show a rare
cover from this company.
He wrote me:
QUOTE: I am attaching a scan of the Garage Hudson cover in my collection and I have never
seen an individual stamp from this concern. Too bad someone removed the National
stamps before I found it but still a very rare cover. You have my permission to use
the scan to illustrate the issue on your website if you will give a citation that the item
belongs to me. At least this way you will have an illustration to display.

Thanks Gary, too kind of you.
