The shown Nepal pair, Clichés 33-34 is from setting 4-6. Unfortunately, the inscriptions in the Handbook by Hellrigl/Vignola on page 72 do not show the sheet inscriptions aside of clichés 33-34.

Is some members here having marginal blocks of setting 4-6, manifested by images, and could let me know from what setting my pair is?

Dear Rainer,

The inscriptions read out rather than in, this is setting 6, an extremely rare setting.  See H&V pages 74 and 75.

Dear Rainer,

I also saw these on eBay and stupidly looked at my notes about them instead of rereading H&V before I wrote my previous reply.  You are of course right that they could also be from settings 4 and 5.  I should know better than to write before thinking.

However, I just looked at a scan that I have of the top block of 14 from Stephan Bildheim's collection and noticed that his block is much less clearly printed than your pair which seems to imply that your pair is from an earlier setting than his perhaps narrowing the choices to settings 4 or 5.  His block is pictured on my website, nepalstamps.com in the Stephan Bildheim section.

Best regards, Ed G.

Dear Ed,

thanks for your opinion.
Setting 4-5 make sense, however, a larger block with sheet inscriptions showing the same cliches as my pair would be more heldful. Maybe another member is havng one and givs is statement.
