Not very much of information’s related to these stamps are known and to my knowledge, the only catalogue listing them is the Iraq revenue catalogue by Joe Ross. And I will use the numbers given to them in the listing.

In 1930, 55 Railway stations and the GPO in Baghdad were authorised to accept such mail. Mostly cancelled by the 31 mm octagonal dark blue or violet station handstamp. For more information, please visit the Postal History section.
