Iraq-Railway Post. A rare Postal card, issued originally by Turkey, later on overprinted with “Iraq / In British Occupation / 1 An.”. The card has been back printed by the Iraqi Railway administration and was used by the Iraqi Railway to notify customers that a consignment has been received and is ready to be collected. I am not aware of any used examples of such cards.
 

Irak, Eisenbahnpost. Eine seltene Postkarte, original ausgeben von der Türkei, später überdruckt mit “Iraq / In British Occupation / 1 An.”. Die Karte wurde auf der Rückseite von der irakische Eisenbahnverwaltung mit einer Benachrichtigung über eine abzuholende Lieferung überdruckt. Mit sind keine gebraucht Karten dieser Art bekannt.
