A rare registered cover, sent 1903 from Pokhara to Kathmandu, franked with a total of 7 Annas, the rate for a registered cover with a weight of up to 2 tolas (1 tola = 11,66 grams). The cover is franked with a strip of three of the 1901-1907 issue, 1 Anna, recut frame (H/V 27), plus an additional 4 Anna stamp on reverse, making the total of 7 Annas. The middle stamp of the 1 Anna strip of three is inverted, forming a tete-beche pair. Not a major rarity but tete-beche pairs on cover are hard to find. The stamps are cancelled with the standard square cancellation of Pokhara, Type C83, furthermore the negative hand-dated postmark of Pokhara, type N44, dated (AD) 19. March 1904, (BS) 6.12.1960) and the arrival postmark of Kathmandu.

Ein seltener Einschreibebrief aus dem Jahr 1903, frankiert mit insgesamt 7 Annas, der Portostufe für einen Einschreibebrief mit einem Gewicht bis zu 2 Tola ( 1 Tola = 11,66 Gramm). Der Brief ist frankiert mit einem Dreierstreifen der Ausgabe 1901 – 1907, 1 Anna, nachgravierter Rahmen (HV 27), zusätzlich rückseitig eine 4 Anna Marke was zusammen 7 Annas ergibt. Die mittlere Marke des 1 Anna Streifens ist kopfstehend so dass sich ein Kehrdruckpaar ergibt. Keine Weltrarität aber Kehrdruckpaare auf Brief sind schwer zu finden. Die Marken sind gestempelt mit dem einheitliche Quadratstempel von Pokhara, Type C83, zusätzlich der negative Handdatierte Stempel von Pokhara, Type N44, datiert (AD) 19. März 1904, (BS) 6.12.1960) und der Ankunftsstempel von Kathmandu.
