A rare cover, sent 1903 from Gorkha to Kathmandu, franked with a very rare 1901 – 1902 issued stamp, a so-called 1 Anna recut frame variety, printed on European paper (HV 26) of which are very few known on cover. What makes this cover even more interesting is the fact that it is used from Gorkha, cancelled with the very rare standard square cancellation type C80, rated with 90 of 100 points in the Nepal postmark catalogue by Hellrigl. On back of the cover are the classic datestamp of Gorhka, type D93, dated (BS) 60.2.18 (AD) 1. June 1903) and the arrival postmark of Kathmandu type D78, dated (BS) 60.2.20 (AD) 03. June 1903.

Ein Brief aus dem Jahr 1903, frankiert mit einer seltenen Marke, einer 1901-1902 ausgegebenen Marke der sogenannten 1 Anna retuschierte Platte auf europäischem Papier gedruckt. Es sind sehr wenige solcher Marken auf Brief bekannt. Was diesen Brief noch interessanter macht ist dass er von Gorkha verwendet wurde und mit dem einheitlichem Quadratstempel von Gorkha der Type C80, bewertet mit 90 von maximal 100 Punkten im Nepal Poststempel Katalog von Hellrigl, gestempelt Auf der Rückseite des Briefes sind die klassischen Datumsstempel von Gorhka, Type D93, datiert (BS) 60.2.18 (AD) 1. Juni 1903) und der Ankunftsstempel von Kathmandu Type D78, datiert BS) 60.2.20 (AD) 03. Juni 1903.
