A corner block of 4 of the 1 Anna value from Setting 4 of the 1886 – 1898 issue of Nepal. This issue has been printed on thin native paper of good quality and was issued without perforation. This issue is known from 3 different settings (Setting Nos. 4 – 6 based on the handbook by Hellrigl / Vignola), identifiable out of the inscriptions on the sheet margins. Up to now, only a block of 11 stamps and a single stamp is known from this setting with marginal inscriptions and this block is a new discovery. Of course, the block is examined by Hellrigl and he stated “One of the most interesting Nepal finds in recent years”.
 

Ein Eckrandviererblock der 1 Anna Marke von Platte 4 der Ausgabe 1886 – 1898 von Nepal. Diese Ausgabe wurde gedruckt auf dünnem einheimischem Papier und wurde ohne Gummierung ausgegeben. Diese Ausgabe wurde in insgesamt 3 Platten gedruckt (Platten Nummer 4 – 6 basierend auf dem Handbuch von Hellrigl / Vignola), identifizierbar an den Bogenrandinschriften. Bisher waren von der Platte 4 nur ein 11er Block sowie ein Einzelstück mit Bogenrandinschriften bekannt und dieser Eckrandviererblock ist eine Neuentdeckung. Der Block ist selbstverständlich geprüft von Hellrigl und dieser schreibt zu dem Stück „Einer der interessantesten Nepal Funde der letzten Jahre“.
