Cover from Jaleswar to Kathmandu, franked with a 1 Anna stamp from the first issue of 1881, cancelled with the extremely rare postmark of Jaleswar I, Hellrigl Type C51, valued with 100 points. On reverse the standard circular date stamp of Jaleswar Type D16, dated May 1882. The stamp is slightly damaged on bottom right comer but the value of the cover is in the cancelation. Only about 3 covers are known with this postmark.
 

Brief von Jaleswar nach Kathmandu, frankiert mit der 1 Anna Marke der ersten Ausgabe von 1981, gestempelt mit dem äußerst seltenen einheitlichen Sechseckstempel von Jaleswar I, Hellrigl Type C51, Bewertung 100 Punkte. Rückseitig datierter Poststempel von Jaleswar Type D16, datiert Mai 1882 als Abgangstempel. Die Marke ist rechts unten etwas beschädigt, der Wert des Briefes liegt aber in der Abstempelung. Nur ca. 3 Briefe mit diesem Stempel sind bekannt.
