I was fortunate to acquire two covers sent n 1932 and 1933 from Safita in the Alawite Sate / Government of Latakia to Nasiriyah / Iraq to one Mr. Dr. Markus Feiner.

I am still trying to find out the postal rates of the Alawite State but have the feeling that they were the same as in the rest of the French Mandate in Syria and Lebanan.
