Imprinted Envelopes, cont. HS-1 - HS-25

For the first time i noted and recorded here that various Imprinted Envelopes exist in several envelope sizes, Something not noted, recorded and reported previously. Similar to what i have noted, recorded and published also for the Nairn Publicity Envelopes.

Notes:

Black and White (B/W) images are images copied from the handbook and are only shown as reference, neither in actual size, nor are they described.
If a link in the column "Cover Image" is provided, a fully size high resolution image of the cover bearing the respective Handstamp. That image will open in a new layer.
If you copy the image that has been scanned from the original cover and open and enlarge it with a graphic program you will see measuring lines around the handstamp imprint. These lines indicate the measuring border from which the actual measurement has been taken.

IE-13 (2)		Front Reverse	58 x 14 mm	57,70 x 14,20 mm	152,9 x 89,5 mm	The third envelope known, this one is sent from Baghdad Al Rashid (12 May 1935) to Liskaerd, Cornwall, GB. The latest reported use.
IE-14		Front				Ex Collection Alan Parsons Cover not in my collection, therefore size of envelope and imprint can not be determined.
IE-15 (1)		Front Reverse	48 x 17 mm	48,40 x 16,80 mm	151,50 x 90,60 mm	Cover dated 31 May 1927 from Mahommera / Iran to England, Bournemouth.
IE-15 (2)		Front Reverse	48 x 17 mm	48,40 x 16,60 mm	152,10 x 90,70 mm	Cover dated 15 November 1927 from Bander Nasseri / Iran to England, Bournemouth. This cover also bear a Route Instruction handstamp HS-06 Collins reports this Imprinted Envelope as used in Iraq, these are the first such envelopes used from Iran.

IE-18 (long envelope)		Front	48 x 17 mm	47,70 x 17,20 mm	238,39 x 101,40 mm	This is the first "legal" size envelope discovered with the Overland Mail imprint. The imprint appears to be of type IE-18 but the bottom part of the "O" in "OVERLAND" is not damaged

IE-19a (2)		Front	48 x 18 mm	Height 18,30 mm	156 x 102 mm	M of Mail is "closed". On a 10 Feb. 1927 cover to London, rare 10 1/2 Anna Rate. Width not possible to measure as the right side of the imprint is covered.
IE-19b (1)		Front Reverse	48 x 18 mm	48,50 x 18,30 mm	133,5 x 105 mm	New discovery. This imprinted envelope is smaller in width and slightly higher than the previously reported type 19. Hence i have renumbered the old type from IE-19 to IE-19a and this new type to number 19b. Used from Hillah, dated 14 April 1928, to Berlin, Germany
IE-20		Front	48 x 18 mm		156 x 102 mm	Baghdad Cantonment, 24 June 1927 (latest date reported) to England. The difference between IE-20 and IE-19 is the position of A (HAIFA) under A of MAIL. It is positioned under the left leg of MAIL, contrary to IE-19 where this position is under the centre of A in Mail. See red line added to the imprint. Item not in my collection.

IE-21, similar		Front	50 x 18 mm	48,70 x 18,30 mm	152,00 x 91,00 mm	On a cover from Glasgow, UK to Iraq, the only known use of an Imprinted Envelope used from UK.
IE-22 (1)		Front Reverse	50 x 18 mm	50,60 x 18,40 mm	154,90 x 100,70 mm	On cover (assumingly) dated 27 January 1927 from Baghdad Cantonment to London). Collins reports the earliest known envelope of this to to be 27 January 1928. Could it b that Collins had a typng error in the date/year in his book and this is the cover mentioned in Collins book?
