I recently obtained a very rare proof from the great grand nephew of Colonel Bailey, the famous British spy and envoy to Nepal in the 1930's. It apparently was to be tibet's first commemorative stamp in honor of the 1933 Lhasa World's Fair which was cancelled just before opening for political reasons ------------- gemtree |
